What is

Four pillars astrology?

You may be familiar with the Asian Zodiac animal associated with your birth year; but there is so much more to the Four Pillars system of astrology.

Also known as Four Pillars of Destiny, this reading is an elegant and effective Asian type of divination that is based on both the movement of heavenly bodies and the cycles of time as described in the Ten Thousand Year book (Asia farmers almanac), an Asian solar calendar.

Did you ever wish you could know your strongest attributes in a way that could lead to living your heart’s desires?

Using time and date of birth a natal chart is calculated and formatted into 4 individual pillars; one for the Year, one for the month, one for the day and another for the hour. Together they form the 4 Pillars of Destiny (ziping astrology).

Each Pillar consists of a combination of one of the 12 Animal Archetypes, referred to as the 12 Earthly Branches and a yin or yang version of the Five Elements, referred to as the 10 Heavenly stems. The pillars also include a fixed yin or yang element for each Earthly Branch and some minor yin or yang elements.

Hundreds of thousands of individual chart combinations can be produced using this system. The natal chart offers an accurate description of Qi (life force)at the moment of birth. When properly interpreted the natal chart provides a personal and specific set of insights; a blueprint that leads to better choices and results in all important areas of life.eg. health, relationships, finance etc.

Timely charts that represent specific time periods can also be produced using these methods, to provide guidance during those time periods.

This system has been in use in Asia for many centuries and has only come to the West in recent years.

Four Pillars is an accurate and expansive method for determining the life path trends of any individual whose time, date and city of birth is known.

Four Pillars is specifically oriented to reflect the rising and falling of Qi or life force as the manifested Universe inhales and exhales. This makes it extremely useful as a diagnostic tool for any practitioner who works with people and is motivated to bring greater empowerment to their clients and to themselves.

It is especially usable as an adjunct to Feng Shui and any Taoist Art that reflects Yin/Yang, Five Elements or the Twelve Energy Cycles. Its uses and potential for healing are without limits.
