All wars are senseless! Some more senseless than others!

Global catastrophes can be caused by inevitable natural events or caused by man made circumstances. War is not inevitable and I have to wonder how one man could orchestrate and implement the kind of atrocities that victimizes an entire population? This is has the potential of becoming one of the worst human calamities of our time.
Join me in this exploration of one man’s Four Pillars Chart as I try to understand WHY??

The first notable aspects of this chart are the two Dragons located in the Year and Day pillars. Individuals born in Water Dragon years are usually able to use their considerable constructive powers to serve the greater good. They also possess exceptional communication skills and a generosity towards all. BUT, when two or more Dragons appear in the natal chart everything changes. This can activate the darker side of their Dragon powers. It can manifest as a desire to control, dominate and subordinate everything in a “realm” they consider their own. This is what often leads to actions that are devastating to others and often to self-destruction.

Influence of the Month and Day Pillars in this Chart

The Month Earthly Branch- Earth Roosters have a deep and penetrating mind.  They are efficient, perceptive and particularly astute in business and financial matters.  They are also persistent and once they have set themselves an objective, they will rarely allow themselves to be deflected. Having a Rooster in the Month pillar brings these qualities to the individual.

The Month Pillar is also considered the parent pillar.  Having a Rooster in this position indicates that parental influences although benevolent may have been overly demanding and perfectionist; also prone to express their disapproval or displeasure in the harshest of terms. This also becomes part of this individual’s story.

The Day Earthly Branch – Fire Dog is 180° polar opposite to the Dragon and undermines the Dragons ability to fully manifest desires. If the Dragon is willing to learn the lessons about kindness and becoming more sensitive to the needs of others, offered by the Dog the Dragon can grow and move on. If not a rigid unwavering stand sets in.

The day pillar is also considered the Spousal pillar.  It can indicate the individual’s preference in romantic or spousal partners. Choosing a Fire Dog as a spouse or romantic partner offers ray of hope.  A greater chance of achieving needed balance in this individual’s life.

The Self Element or Day-master

Another notable aspect of this chart is the Yang Fire Self Element (element in upper day pillar). Yang fire people are usually upbeat, sunny, open-hearted individuals who strive to share their happiness with the world. Not so much when the Self Element is very weak and is surrounded by unfavorable elements that drain, diminish or control the Self Element (noted in red in the chart).

Metal Element- Controlled by Fire and drains its Qi  in the process.

Earth Element- Fed by Fire and diminishes available Qi in the process.

Water Element- Controls and contains Fire and weakening it.

The result is a feeling of being surrounded by enemies. The individual enters into a persisting survival mode. Fear and mistrusts of others is the primary state of mind. The desires to dominate and subordinate seem to be the only sanctuaries from danger. Under stress the individual can be launched into a state of paranoia and isolation. Dangerous actions that harm others and can lead to self destruction ensue.

The Five Element Balance- Reflects the percentage of each of the Five Elements as they appear in the chart and their relationship to the Self.

12% Fire  –  the Self and favorable relationships. This percentage is bordering on low and is further diminished by other Elements.

32% Earth-   Expression- represents our creative output and its influence in the world.  This is the most abundant element in this chart. It indicates a great desire to transform the world, often to one’s own vision. Earth is the element that represents transformation.  This can manifest as change that heals or change that destroys. With this much Earth the ability to transform is strong.

26% Metal- Wealth- represents our earned rewards in life. Metal is considered the Predominant element in this chart. Individuals will sometimes have more of the defining characteristic of their predominant element than their self element characteristics. This individual is greatly motivated by the accumulation of Wealth in all forms and no amount of accumulation is enough.

26% Water- Power- there are two type of power possible. Proper power is power from within or accessed though spiritual connection. The second, Aggressive Power, represents power over. There is frustration and anger caused by situations or individuals that cannot be controlled. In this case most Water element in the chart is Yang- and considered to be Aggressive Power. Acceptance of the inability to control and a choice to work on one’s reactions  is the way to restore balance.

4% Wood- Resource- Represents our support in life from family, friends and the universe. With so little support there can be resentment and a feeling of abandonment.

The overall effect of this mix is to dis-empower the Self Element. This type of chart is referred to as a Totally Weak Fire, follow Metal chart. With a Totally weak chart there is a great potential for fame or notoriety. The individual has an obsessive need to leave a mark on the world. The Self becomes a servant to grandiose desires and cannot find fulfillment even when significant goals are achieved. “Enough is never enough”!

The Influence of Timely Cycles

The Annual Pillar

Time period from Feb 2022 Feb to Feb2023  ( Yang Water : Tiger )
The current annual pillar  shows the influence of the Earthly Branch – Water Tiger and 10 element Gods (Yin/Yang of Five elements and their relationship to the Self), on the this individual’s chart.

The Tiger combines with Dog to produce extra Fire. The added Fire combined with the Tiger’s aggressive and competitive call to action, is one of the factors that incited this individual’s immediate need to act. Slightly supported by the small infusion of Fire element a renewed confidence and urgency compels the individual to act in the most explosive way.

Yang Water is Aggressive Power.  It indicates a period of stress and frustration that could lead to anger caused by situations, places or people that are out of the individual’s control.

Yang Wood is Inconsistent Resource and indicates the absence of support that can usually be depended upon. Support may appear to be there but is temporarily unavailable. This can spell disaster for any large scale operation.

Yang Fire is the Self Element- The appearance of the self can embolden an individual to act. When the self element is a minor element such as this there is not as much Qi available as is needed for success. The individual may be led into a false sense of confidence.

In summation, Success is not guaranteed; this individual’s compulsion for immediate action is not supported and will encounter many obstacles.  If the individual awakens to the errors in judgment disaster can be averted. If not the situation may escalate causing unspeakable horrors and the eventual destruction of the perpetrator.

Ten Year Luck Cycle Pillar

Time period from Feb 2013 to Feb2023 ( Yang Fire : Dragon )

This is the last year of a Yang Fire Dragon Luck Cyle. This references the influence that this period has had on the individual.

Fire Dragons are ambitious, articulate and have a tremendous desire to succeed.  They are conscientious workers and are often admired for the powerful positions they occupy. They are strong-willed and possess considerable leadership qualities.  They can however rely too heavily on their own judgment and not take into consideration the valid opinions and feelings of others.  They can also be aloof and it would be in their own interests to let others join in more.   This is the primary influence during this Ten Year Cycle. With the addition of a third dragon all conditions are exacerbated.

The presence of this Fire Dragon on the chart is to create a pressure to act. Plans that have been fermenting for the past nine years are in the forefront. There is a compulsion to act on one’s own beliefs even if one stands alone and opposed by the entire rest of the world.  Because this is the final year of the cycle there is an even greater urgency to put plans into effect.

The addition of the third Dragon also will increase self destructive tendencies. A great danger to all within this individual’s sphere of influence.

The die has not been cast. The outcome is not decided. Much depends on the awakening of one man from his dark dream of power and control. It is clear that he will only do so if his own
well be
ing is threatened.

Forces have gathered to oppose the heinous acts. Globally people are joined in prayer, political actions and physical actions. I pray for the safety of the innocents in the line of fire. I pray that a better world emerge from this tragedy.
